The
inspiration for this collection comes from an array of sources both
locally and internationally but the underlying influence remains a
dominant use of bright bold colors and an abundance of intermixing
patterns. The prints are based on floral, geometric, oriental, Turkic
and Indian motifs making the collection abundantly versatile and
offering something for everyone. Nargis Fakhri, is the ubiquitous face of Élan’s campaign and is representing the brand nationwide via billboards & catalogue.
The collection offers fifteen designs in two color
ways each, giving our patrons maximum choice. The color palette is
diverse and on trend for spring/summer 2013.

Princess Topkapi, Gypsy Love, Persian Dreams and more” said Khadijah Shah, Creative Director at Élan.
“We are proud to announce an exciting addition to our
brand in form of spring / summer lawn collection, 2013. Venturing into
lawn this year was a tremendous experience for me. Our endeavors have
been directed towards producing high quality products which reflects in
our lawn collection” said Hussein Fazal, the CEO of Hussein Mills Limited.
The exhibition held at Palm, Emerald Marquee with an
aura of a spring garden. There was a display of fifteen mannequins
emblazoned in beautiful prints by Élan. The glamorous red carpet
preceded the extravagant fashion presentation which featured top notch
models such as Abeer, Areeba, Eqra, Maham, Mahi, Monica, Mubashira, Saba, Sana Khan, Sehrish, Sarah Khan and Sidra Sajid.
The launch event was organized by Catwalk Productions and PR handled by Catalyst PR & Marketing.
The alluring evening was attended by top notch designers, fashionistas,
and celebrities such as Shehla Chatoor, Mahin Hussain, Sherezad
Rahimtoola, Zahir Rahimtoola, Ayesha Umer, Nadir Feroz, Maha Burney, Zurain Imam, Sanam Chaudhri, Umair Tabani, Mohsin Feroz & Ayla Raza.
